The peaceful location was perfect for a relaxing getaway and the mountain views were breathtaking. the cottage was cozy and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. the complimentary WiFi was a nice touch, allowing me to stay connected during my trip. One of the highlights of my stay was the hiking opportunities in the area. the cottage is surrounded by beautiful trails, making it the perfect base for outdoor exploration. I also appreciated the grocery shopping service available, which made it easy to stock up on supplies for my adventures. The owner, Jacky, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for nearby attractions like Askham Hall. the proximity to the World of Beatrix Potter was also a bonus for fans of the famous author. Overall, my experience at Cross Haw Cottage was fantastic and I can't wait to return. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty, this is the place for you.
